Important Basic to Know About Tenis and Tennis Coach Tools
- Tennis Ball – A tennis ball is a great tool to use for hitting balls back and forth between players. You can use a tennis ball to hit a ball back and forth between two people, or even just yourself. When using a tennis ball, make sure to keep it away from any electrical outlets, as they can cause the ball to explode.
- Tennis Racket – A tennis racket is a great way to practice your serve, forehand, backhand, and volleying skills. If you’re looking to improve your game, then you should invest in a good quality tennis racket.
- Tennis Net – A tennis net is a great tool to help you practice your serves and groundstrokes. It’s a great way to get some extra practice in before heading out onto the court.
- Tennis Shoes – Tennis shoes are a great investment if you plan on playing tennis regularly. They protect your feet from injury and provide traction on different surfaces.
- Tennis Rules – The tennis rules are simple. You have four serves per set. If you miss the first serve, then you get two chances to hit the ball again before the opponent gets a chance to return. If you make a mistake after hitting your second serve, then you lose the point. After each game, you get three points to win the game. If you win the match, then you get two points. If you lose the match, then you only get one point.
- Lawn Tennis – Lawn tennis is played on grass courts. There are five players on each team. Each player has a racket and a net. A tennis court is about 90 feet long and 30 feet wide. The service line is at the baseline and the sideline is at the back of the court. When serving, the server stands behind the baseline and hits the ball overhand toward the opposing side. The receiver runs towards the ball and tries to catch it with his/her racquet. The server wins if he/she makes contact with the ball first.
- Indoor Tennis – Indoor tennis is played on hard surfaces. There are six players on each team. Players use rackets and nets similar to lawn tennis. The service line is between the baseline and sideline. When serving, the servers stand behind the baseline and hit the ball overhand toward their opponents. The receivers run towards the ball and try to catch it with their racquets. The server wins if they make contact with the ball first, otherwise, the receiver wins.
